About Us
Welcome to RCwarbirds!!
RCWarbirds was established in January 2010 and we offer high quality scale looking radio controled war birds. We sell prop driven and electric ducted fan types and we are very passionate about aviation history and im sure that this will come across in the range of produts we bring to you.
We have started numerous relationships with suppliers around the globe and we are looking to build on that relationship to be able to bring you the latest in the modern style of RC plane at a highly competitive price. We also try to keep shipping costs realistic, whislt also giving you peace of mind for insurance and traceability when the plane is on its way to you.
We won't stop searching for those planes that have always been just a dream for those of us with out the scale modelling know how or the money and time to build it from scratch. I personally have fingers crossed for a B-17 of a good size and scale apperance and i'm sure that with the release of the B-25 from Art-Tech that we mustn't be far away from it!
We also have the Starmax and the Lanxiang range to choose from. See the new Lanxiang A-10 in flight and you could easliy think that you were looking at the real thing!
We have just launched the Kyosho range on the site too which is constantly updating and pushing the boundarys in both technology and scale apperance, just see the Kyosho Spitfire or ME-109 for proof!
All of our models are electric powered and generally made from Foam or EPO stypes of material. Previously these models we more common in the USA, Australia and Japan but now they are causing an interest over here in the UK, probably due to the way they can be bought of the shelf almost ready to fly with everything you need in the box. Not to mention that fact that they are much quieter and cleaner than the IC planes more typicaly found in the UK, You can have them built before the battery is fully charged in most cases!
As technology continualy moves forward allowing stronger, lighter materials to be made and smaller more powerful electronics to develop, that in turn will allow the RC Plane industry to realise the dreams and visions of those budding pilots in us all!
We are, im sure, not long away from having RC planes the size of the models we used to make on the kitchen table!
Happy Landings!
